Respiratory Therapy

If you need to schedule a respiratory therapy appointment, please call 336-846-0814 to speak with a therapist on duty. Please provide the therapist with the type of test that is to be completed and the ordering provider to ensure that the appointment is scheduled correctly. On the day of your appointment, please register with our outpatient registration department upon arrival.

Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)

No breathing medications, including Singular, less than 6 hours of testing time. All other prescribed medications are allowed.
No heavy meals prior to testing.
Bring list of all medications you are currently taking.
For all disability determination testing, please bring a photo ID.

Zio Patch (Holter)

Left chest area is clean and free of lotions and moisturizers.
You will not be allowed to shower the first 24 hours of having patch placed. After that, it is considered safe to get patch wet.
