Medical Procedures and Surgeries

Ashe Memorial Hospital offers the medical procedures and surgeries you need in a comfortable setting close to where you live. Our hospital is staffed with board-certified surgeons and nurses trained to care for patients before, during and after surgery.

All surgeries are conducted in our state-of-the-art operating suites. Around-the-clock anesthesiology services ensure your are comfortable during and after your surgery.

The Medical/Surgical floor is able to care for 23 patients with 17 private rooms and three semi-private rooms. This unit provides nursing care for patients recovering from surgery, injury or medical illness. We believe in caring for the whole person. Our staff understands that the patient is not the only person affected by their hospitalization.

Ashe Memorial Hospital also has a Monitored Bed Unit (MBU), which is able to care for four patients. The MBU provides care for patients recovering from surgery, injury or critical illness requiring more focused nursing care.
