COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services recently began using the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's
COVID-19 Community Transmission Map to monitor COVID-19 activity across North Carolina. This map is updated daily and uses a combination of total cases per 100,000 people and percent positivity in the last 7 days to measure the level of community transmission in our counties.
Individuals, businesses, community organizations and public officials can use this data as a tool to better understand how their county is faring and to be able to utilize those metrics to make decisions on how to slow the spread of the virus.
Please continue to do your part to stop the spread of COVID-19 by wearing your mask, washing your hands and social distancing whenever possible.
