Located on the campus of Ashe Memorial Hospital, Ashe Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality care, offering a full range of orthopaedic and sport medicine treatment options.

Hardayal Singh, MD
Dr. Hardayal Singh is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and wound care specialist. Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Punjabi University Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjabi India. He went on to complete an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Singh completed a Joint Replacement Fellowship at Asheville VA Medical Center.

James McClure, MD
Dr. James McClure is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine physician. Dr. McClure earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. He went on to complete an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Tennessee- Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Memphis, Tenn. Dr. McClure completed an adult reconstructive and joint preservation surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.


Dan Caputo, MS, PA-C
Dan Caputo is a certified physician assistant with more than 15 years of experience in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. Dan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in sports science and athletic training from Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 2001. In 2007, he earned his bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from York College in Queens, N.Y.
