 AMH VALUES THE ROLE OF VOLUNTEERS
Do you want to volunteer at Ashe Memorial Hospital or AMH Segraves Care Center? Whatever your age, background, or experience, your presence can make a difference.
We have numerous volunteer opportunities for adults age 18 and over. Our opportunities are continually expanding! College students, retired people, full-time members of the paid work force find rewarding volunteer opportunities with Ashe Memorial Hospital and AMH Segraves Care Center which fit their schedules, talents and their interests. Also, Volunteens age 14-18 volunteer June – August to accumulate hours for required volunteer hours in schools.
Join the AMH Auxiliary – The goal of the auxiliary is to aid the hospital’s social, financial and service needs in any way possible. The AMH Auxiliary has raised thousands of dollars for our AMH Foundation in the past years by sponsoring Books Sales, Jewelry Sales, and Uniform Sales.
Be a part of our Gift Nook – AMH Gift Nook provides much of the Auxiliary’s revenue and gives them an outlet for selling all kind of great items for employees and the outside community. Come check-out the Gift Nook.
Ashe Memorial Hospital Volunteer Program serves as an instrumental part in the provision of quality healthcare services by:
· Offering the opportunity for service in the community and healthcare industry
· Complementing the healthcare setting by offering assistance to those in need; and
· Displaying commitment to excellence through professional development and quality care.
