Kevin Kurtz, M.D.
Family Medicine/Obstetrics
Dr. Kevin Kurtz is a native of Ashe County. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from East Carolina University. Dr. Kurtz completed his family medicine training at the UNC-affiliated, MAHEC residency program in Asheville, NC. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in complicated obstetrics and women’s healthcare needs through the University of Washington in Spokane. Dr. Kurtz is a Board Certified Family Physician and founded High Country Family Medicine in 1994.
